The Canton Fair is one of the most prestigious and well-regarded events in the thousand-year-old commercial capital, and attracting people from all walks of life and backgrounds, it’s undeniably one of the biggest events of the year. And, for 2023, we here at Smillon are making a stand, bringing our brand new range of unique products and technologies to show consumers a new way to lead a comfortable, happy life.
The Canton Fair, otherwise known as the Chinese Import and Export Fair, is a twice-annual trade fair that is held in Guangzhou, attracting guests from all around the world ever since its inception in 1957. The event offers an excellent destination for those wanting to meet up, reconnect with past friends, and make new acquaintances - all of which happened at our very own Smillon stand!
With a stand at the Canton Fair, our team has showcased our unique product range to a whole new audience, and as part of this goal, two core achievements were stand-out successes of our time at the fair.
One of the biggest sources of excitement for our Smillon team at the 134th Canton Fair had to be the meeting - and subsequent interview - with CCTV, an internationally regarded Chinese brand. In fact, the team at CCTV planned a special visit to stop by the Smillon booth, and we in turn took the opportunity to showcase the innovation, growth, and development of Chinese technological developments. Hence, it is hoped that this interview will help encourage new people to give Chinese manufacturing a try for all of their comfort needs.
In addition to our interview with CCTV, our Smillon team also took things a step further by fostering hundreds of new customer relationships - in doing so, sharing Chinese manufacturing and products with over fifty countries around the world. The development of new relationships in this manner has established strong connections with numerous strategic customers, in turn offering new opportunities for the Smillon brand to move forward in a more positive manner than ever before.
Throughout the event, customers consistently expressed how impressed they were with the products, and one even sent through a very special gift as thanks. This massive vote of confidence has no doubt made a significant shift not only on our team but also for our customers, giving people even greater confidence in our brand and mission to continue driving better value for customers.
Looking ahead, it is hoped that the relationships that we have helped culture during the Canton Fair will continue to thrive and burn bright. And, through our mission of developing new technologies that can help deliver uncompromising results for customers, it’s safe to say that the future is looking bright for our core mission of increasing comfort and delivering new breakthroughs overall.
